Ready to use leather cleaner suitable for all smooth leather except suede and nubuck. As with any product for leather, please test for dye-fastness first.

The cleaner is made with plant extracts and glycerine. It is a clear liquid with a gentle and fresh orange scent. The liquid may feel watery because we have not added thickeners but it has higher percentage cleaning agents than similar cleaners.

Leather cleaning is a two steps process. First, it has to be cleaned and then conditioned to top up the oils leather needs to remain supple and looking great.

Please note that deep oily stains on leather are very difficult to remove. Try sprinkling talcum powder overnight. For best result at home, clean the surface of the leather and condition avoiding the only stains.

Standard household cleaners are usually highly alkaline. The tanning process makes leather slightly acidic. This cleaner is pH balanced for leather.

APPLICATION
Spray onto a sponge and work up foam by squeezing the sponge a few times. Wash pigmented leather with the foam using wide circular motions adding more cleaner as required. Wipe the whole item with a damp cloth. Follow with a conditioner such as our Chambers Leather Balsam. Aniline leather, ideally, should be cleaned with damp cloth only, ideally using rain or distilled water. If deeper clean is required, the process is as above but using less cleaner and more water and cleaning whole panels at a time. As a test, you can put some oil on a plate, spray this cleaner on top, leave for 5-10 seconds and rinse. No rubbing required, the oil will be gone! Aniline leather absorbs liquids quickly and doesn't give the full 5-10 seconds which makes cleaning it a more laborious process.
