VARIOUS The First & Second Esquire Concerts Vol. 1 & 2 (1974 UK FOUR LP set featuring live tracks recorded at New Yorks Metropolitan Opera House on January 18th 1944 with an all-star line-up including Billie Holiday Jack Teagarden Coleman Hawkins Art Tatum Louis Armstrong & Lionel Hampton as well as the following year on January 17 1945 with Louis Armstrong Duke Ellington Benny Goodman Billie Holiday Art Tatum & the like top of the bill at the Philharmonic Auditorium LA & at the Municipal Auditorium New Orleans. All four parts are housed in their respective front laminated picture sleeves & all covers are near mint. The vinyl discs appear excellent to near mint with minimal evidence of play SAGA6922/3/4/5)
