- Please do not surprise once you find the speed is not even higher than a cheaper wifi dongle. This USB Wireless Lan Card has two bands function, but only when connected by router with 5G band, could it run at up to 433Mbps speed. Otherwise, it runs at a Max speed of 150Mbps. So, to enjoy high speed, a dual band router is a must.
- The wifi dongle works by transmitting network signal, not to strengthen it ( wifi booster does strengthen ) Therefore, the speed of the dongle cannot overpass the entire bandwidth of your broadband connection.
- 5G mode stands out within short range. If your router is near the dual band Network Card, there will be a stronger signal under 5G band mode than 2.4G band mode; if the distance is long, you will have a better signal when you choose 2.4G band mode.
- Any other issue
