Dual-band WLAN adapter in compact USB format
The WLAN stick works with all Wi-Fi-compatible routers, access points and wireless networks
through the IEEE802.11a/b/g/n standard. With the practical WPS button (Wi-Fi Protected
Setup), you can integrate the adapter into your wireless network at the press of a button. A
secure connection with no manual network key configuration is set up automatically.
Explanation of the improvement in data flow:
The full data stream is split into two parallel data streams. Theses are located on one channel
but are transmitted via different antennas. In the receiver, the signals can be separated from
one another again by calculations based on the spatial information, provided that the receiver
also supports MiMo technology. As the antennas are a certain distance apart, the signals arrive
at the receiver at different times and with different intensities. This is the result of attenuation
and reflection of the signal and the configuration of the antennas. It is therefore possible to
increase the data rate without changing the frequency bandwidth, as several streams can be
transmitted on one frequency. As a result, there are no interference problems. Moreover the receiver
receives the signal on two antennas, which results in a higher signal/noise ratio and thus a better
signal quality.
Please note in relation to the frequency band:
Each channel in the WLAN has a certain bandwidth in this range, usually 20 or 40 MHz. At 40 MHz
there may be problems in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, however, as only a few channels are available
and an increase in the channel bandwidth would further reduce the number of available channels
