FAQ: How do I sync/pair the tracker to my phone
ANSWER: Here are the requirements for syncing/pairing. Make sure:
1. The correct App (Veryfit for Heart Rate) has been downloaded from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
2. The software on your mobile device is updated. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update (iOS) or Settings > About Phone or About Device > Android Version
3. The Bluetooth setting on your mobile device is on. To check, tap Settings > Bluetooth (iOS) or Settings > Connections > Bluetooth(Android)
Note: Tracker will work only on Bluetooth 4.0 for Android 4.4 or IOS 7.1 and above
4. Your mobile device isn't managing other Bluetooth connections. Certain interruptions are caused by known iOS, Android and Bluetooth limitations. Please contact your mobile device Support Team
5. If you use more than one Bluetooth phone or tablet, make sure the other one isn't nearby (or has Bluetooth disabled) when syncing
6. Lastly, make sure your tracker's battery isn't critically low
Note: For certain mobiles, you must have location services turned on
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your tracker still won't sync, try these steps:
Delete and download the app again (Veryfit for Heart Rate)
Go to phone Settings/Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on
Open the Veryfit for Heart Rate app and sync while keeping the tracker screen on for it to detect its signal
If your tracker didn't sync, reboot your mobile phone
