The Battery Balancer (charge level equaliser) compensates for the charge status of two series 12 V batteries or from several parallel lines of series switched batteries.
When the charge voltage of a 24 V battery system rises to above 27 V, the Battery Balancer turns on and compares the voltage on the two batteries connected to series
The Battery Balancer removes a current of up to 1 A from the battery (or the batteries connected in parallel) with the highest voltage. The resulting difference in the charging current ensures that all batteries are aligned with the same charging state.
