Q. What systems does your ink work with
A. Our ink is compatible with Royal Mail's IMP / ILSM sorting machinery which use optical recognition to scan your franking image. These include standard Crown & Die, Mailmark, Clean Mail, Business Mail franking impressions. Please be aware that some other compatibles have problems printing mailmark or other franking impressions that are unreadable, especially the DM60/K722 series.
Q. How do you calculate impressions per cartridgeA. Pitney Bowes Franking Machines calculate ink consumption on a fixed impression basis. You may get a low ink warning light even though your cartridge is not empty. Other factors to take into account when calculating impression per cartridge are advert coverage, automatic cleaning cycles and how often the machine is used, newer machines are more ink efficient.
