The ConBee, a USB ZigBee Gateway, allows an individual gateway solution for ZigBee networks and through its small and compact size it is particularly useful for the operation of mini PCs, Raspberry Pi or a Beagle Bone Black.

The compact ConBee acts together with a PC, laptop or mini PC as a fully functional ZigBee gateway and enables an intelligent control in a wireless light area.

In addition to the interaction with products of dresden elektronik the USB dongle also integrates lights from other manufacturers like Osram and Philips into the ZigBee network and controls those easily.

To ensure an easy upgrade, the firmware update ( OTAU ) of dresden elektronik products in ZigBee networks is possible.

For Developers: The ConBee comes standard with a bootloader and can be provided with its own firmware. The necessary tools are free for download by dresden elektronik.

Bitcatcher: The ConBee can be used with the help of Luxoft BitCatcher as ZigBee sniffer . The necessary tools and firmware are for free and downloadable by dresden elektronik.
