The 13.56MHz USB reader with keyboard emulation is compatible with the standards ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 and supports functions such as USB HID (USB Human Interface Device). The device configurable keyboard emulation feature makes it possible to display either the tag UID or definable memory contents of a selection of RFID tags at the respective cursor position on the PC as a keyboard input.
This is possible with any operating system that has a USB HID device driver. The function is the same as with a standard bar code scanner, except that the content of an RFID tag is output. The reader can be used with Windows® XP, Windows 7, 8/8.1/10, Linux, Mac and Android.
Typical applications: member management in libraries, car rental, hotel reception, fitness club, logistics, object identification, point-of-sale applications (PoS), customer bonus programs, simple testing of RFID tags
The multi ISO USB reader with keyboard emulation is a USB device with a standard USB CCID and a USB HID keyboard interface. The reader has a modern housing and a two-colour LED indicating the reading status.
In the read/write mode, the reader reads and writes all common ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 RFID chips, such as NXP (Mifare Ultralight, Mifare Ultralight C, Mifare Classic 1K/4K, Mifare Desfire, Mifare Desfire EV1, Mifare Plus or SmartMX), Broadcom Topaz, Infineon my-d move und Icode. Additionally, it supports NFC forum tags of types 1
