there is an indication led on the charger, when charging, the indication light would be one in red, and it would turn to green when batteries fully charged. It's fused inside the plug also inside the compartment, would stop charging when battery is fully charged, protect battery from over charge, and please make sure the battery is 3.7V rechargeable before put them in and also pay attention to the directions.
