The DSD31 Z-Wave compatible siren and visual alert will warn everybody in the building the event of a break-in, fire, flood or medical emergency, depending on configuration and association with Z-Wave sensors such as door/window sensors or motion detectors. The siren can be plugged into any mains socket for power. In the event of a power failure the built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 3 hours of stand-by power. The alarm intensity is 105 dB at 1 m range. This Generation 5 Z-Wave chip-set device is Z-Wave Plus compatible, providing improved battery life, range and bandwidth. Only available with a Type E plug, which fits both Type E and Type F (Schuko) sockets. This Z-Wave Plus compatible device contains the 5th generation Z-Wave chipset for improved battery life
