Watts membrane safety valve for closed hot water heaters (blow-off pressure: 8 bar)
Connections: input: 1/2 inch female thread x output: 3/4 inch female thread. Max. Power up to approx. 50 kW
Material: pressed brass CW617N according to EN 12165-99 // membrane made of heat and age-resistant material // twist cap made of impact-resistant plastic // spring made of NiCr steel
The blow-off pressure is pre-set by the factory and secured against adjustment by a pressed-in safety washer, which carries the blow-off pressure and the component test mark. The function of the safety valve must be checked once a year by a professional: by ventilating the rotary cap, manual draining causes the valve seat to clean.
Installation regulations: the membrane safety valve must be installed at a point with minimum temperature, at the highest point or in the flow near the heat generator in accordance with the direction of the arrow. The connection line of the safety valve must be designed so that no accumulation of dirt or residues is possible, must be no more than 1 m long
