Midland & Great Northern Memories is a tribute DVD to the ground-breaking gala that was held on the North Norfolk Railway during February and March 2009. This event comemmorated the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway in February 1959, which witnessed the greatest gathering of steam locomotives that the line has ever seen, which included LNER B1 1306 Mayflower, LMS 4F 44422, BR Standards 76079 & 78019, Great Eastern J15 65862, LNER N7 69621, Lancashire & Yorkshire 0-6-0 1300 and the mighty WD 2-10-0 90775. This major event attracted over 15,000 people over two weekends, who recalled the passing of this famous joint system, and so, if you wish to remember the M&GN, and see LNER, LMS & BR locomotives working hard through Norfolk
