HDMI Switch - 5 Inputs / 1 Output
The Loops HDMI switch is a great buy for anyone running out of HDMI sockets on their TV, or simply wanting to clean up the clutter behind their entertainment centre.
Simultaneously connect 5 HD devices to 1 input and easily switch between them.
1) Automatic switching, see 'smart function' below
3) Simple plug and play operation
4) Power cable is supplied but not usually required, however depending on the strength of signal and length of cable, you may need to use the power cable. 5 Inputs with 1 Simple Output - You can attach up to 5 HD devices to the box and only have one HDMI lead to connect to your TV.
Smart Function - When there is more than 1 HD device connected to the HDMI switch, the switch will automatically select the device that is powered on as the main source. If more than 1 device is powered on, the switch will select the device which was powered on last. Therefore, simply turning off the power to the devices that are not required, will force the switch to choose the desired device. Powering a device off is different to putting it into standby.
Manual Selection - The input device can be manually selected by using the 'source selection' button.
*Not recommended for use with HDMI cables longer than 3 metres when 3D is going to be run through them, for longer runs an HDMI over CAT5/CAT6 extender is required.
