Dual Battery - Charges and protects 2 batteries simultaneously, with automatic cut off to prevent over-charging. The perfect solar controller for a caravan, motorhome, boat or any other system with 2 batteries (e.g. engine and leisure battery). The main battery is charged with full power, whilst the second battery is trickle charged (max 1 A).
MPPT (Max Power Point Tracking) Technology -Pinpoints the maximum power voltage point of the solar panel(s) as it varies depending on environmental conditions. This ensures maximum efficiency of your solar system and outperforms standard PWM solar controllers by far. Works with standard off-grid and on-grid panels or solar panel arrays up to 50V. The maximum allowed solar input for this controller is 250W.
Protection Functions: Prevents reverse current at night, over-charging, short circuit and battery reverse polarity protection.
Socket for AES-enabled fridges (Automatic Energy Selector e.g. some Dometic/Electrolux fridges). When the battery is full, excess solar energy switches the fridge from gas/mains to 12V operation.
100% compatible with many battery types e.g. Gel, AGM, Lead-Acid Flooded and Lithium batteries. Several charging options available for each type.
