These new handsets are backwards compatible so can be used with all Hörmann automatic operators produced since 2005. This means for instance, that a new transmitter can control both a new gate operator and an existing garage door operator. If you have an "old type" Hörmann transmitter working on 868,3 MHz frequency, you can replace it by BiSecur transmitter but an "old type" transmitters won't work with "new type" motors with BiSecur system.
