WHAT IS A H.PYLORI INFECTION: H. pylori, (helicobacter pylori) is a bacteria which is a common cause of peptic ulcers and gastritis. H. pylori bacteria damages the stomach lining, breaking down the layer that protects the stomach lining from stomach acid.
