25 NECKLACE CORDS: Included in this set are 25 black necklace cords. Each cord is lightweight and made from high-quality, strong and durable polyester. Each piece of string measures 42.5cm (16.73 inches) in length. All the ropes are smooth and have a thickness of 2mm, ideal for slipping on a pendant or charm. The lobster clasps are made from durable metal. These clasps measure 1.4cm (0.55 inch) in length. The chain is made up of multiple metal jump rings which give a length of 5cm (1.97 inches).
LOBSTER CLAW CLASP: Attached at the ends of all the nylon cords is a heavy-duty lobster clasp. These clasps are for clipping on to the chain link at the other end of the cord. These clasps ensure the necklaces stay secure around your neck or writs. Joining the ends of the rope together with these clasps avoids the necklaces from getting to tight around the neck area. Each clasp is easy to use and open the clasp with your thumb. When released the clasp will spring back to a closed position.
EXTENDABLE CHAIN: All of the polyester necklaces come fitted with a strong, metal, jump ring extension chain which measures 5cm (1.97 inches) in length. These chains can be extended and reduced to any required size. For this, two pairs of pair of pliers will be required. Use the pliers to bend the ring open, insert or remove a link, then bend back the metal back to secure. The clamp of the necklace is also fixed with a jump ring. This allows both sides to extend and keep the clasp in the centre.
