The Wagenfeld table lamp - The original!
This wonderful Bauhaus classic, also called Bauhaus Lamp, was designed in 1924 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
This is the only original version of the Wagenfeld table light, that is manufactured by Tecnolumen in Bremen, Germany, and features the following characteristics: the Wagenfeld socket is equipped with the characteristic nozzle for the pull cord. The transparent rod and the base are made of clear glass for the Wagenfeld WG24 and the Wagenfeld WG25GL, the shade of all Tecnolumen Wagenfeld lights are made of hand-blown opal glass.
The pull cord of all Wagenfeld table lamps is made up of a black textile cord with a small nickel-plated ball at the end. All the Wagenfeld lamps, also suitable as night light or desk lamp, are numbered and carry the Tecnolumen / BAUHAUS mark.
