Easily upgrade your PlayStation 4's hard drive space with Data Bank Plus. Data Bank Plus allows the use of 3.5-inch hard drives. Switching between two hard drives is as simple as pressing the button while the console is powered off. The 3.5-inch hard drive has a higher read/write speed than a 2.5-inch hard drive, which improves the load time of some games and achieves high capacity at low cost. The database has front LEDs that indicate when the PlayStation 4 is accessing or saving content on the hard drive. The database is powered by a built-in power straight-through cable and does not require its own power outlet. Installing Data Bank Plus is very simple and takes only a few minutes. After backing up the saved data, simply remove the top cover of the PS4, then remove one screw with the included screwdriver and remove the built-in 2.5-inch hard drive. Slide the included universal tape into place, secure it with the screw, and snap the database into the top of the PS4. Once the installation is complete, place the 2.5-inch hard drive in the database, then place and cover the SATA 3 3.5-inch hard drive. The last step is to plug in the power. Plug in the PS4 through the power cord and plug the PS4 power cord into the pass-through port.
