THE STORY OF COORS BEER - In 1873, our founder set out in search of the perfect brewing conditions and rather than being put off by the inhospitable Rocky Mountains, he took inspiration from them choosing to settle right by an ice-cold creek, 5,500 feet above sea level and thats where the story of Coors Lager began.
TASTING NOTES - Every Coors lager offers a clean, light and refreshing taste and an aroma with soft, fruity notes. A pale, clear, and slightly sweet, slightly malty flavoured beer with low bitterness and a crisp finish. Best served ice cold for the perfect refreshment.
BLUE MOUNTAINS; COLD BEER - Nothing's worse than a mouthful of warm beer, so we like to use special thermochromic ink technology on every Coors can, bottle and glass to help you enjoy beer as it was intended: mountain-cold. Whenever you see the blue Rocky Mountain icon on one of our Coors beer bottles, lager cans or pint glasses you know its as cold as the Rockies and ready to drink.
