Mindfield's eSense Pulse is a compact sensor that can measure the heartbeat (heart rate variability) on a smartphone or tablet's Bluethooth (Android and iOS).
The measurement of the heartbeat is a stress indicator, as the heartbeat depends on the onset and relaxation of the heart muscle. With the eSense Pulse you can determine your stress level and effectively counteract it with the help of a biofeedback training.
By purchasing the eSense Pulse, you can download our free app from the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) or the Amazon AppStore. (You can do that before, but the app does not show meaningful values without a sensor)
The eSense app supports biofeedback via smart bulbs. Smart bulbs can change their colors and brightness and be controlled via Bluetooth. This, in combination with the eSense app, allows you to use the light of the Smart Bulbs as an indicator of your stress or relaxation level. The app supports the Magic Blue and Phillips Hue Smart Bulbs. From the eSense app you can connect the Magic Blue and use it in your biofeedback exercises.
