SET UP
Attach the Hookey board to a wall using the boards top clip (a wall nail, screw or fastener works best)
Players must stand an agreed distance from the Hookey board, marked by a line set out on the ground, called the "oche".
A distance of 160 cm and height of 140 cm is recommended for children under 9 years. For adults and children over 9 years, a distance of 180 cm and a height of 160 cm.
The standard game of Hookey is as follows
To find out who will start the match, each throw the 6 rings at the board. The highest total scorer starts and the others follow in scoring order. Each player will
throw 6 rings at the board, one at a time in his or her turn and the total score for each player will be counted. If a player gets all 6 rings hooked on the board in succession,
1 EXTRA ring throw is allowed. The first player to reach the score of 101 will win the match!
Players must throw the exact number to complete their score. If playing for the score 101 and a player throws a ring that is above 101
