Hnefatafl (pronounced as nef-ah-tah-fel) is one of history's greatest board games. It's a medieval Viking game with easy to learn rules yet becomes very addictive. It is played by two players.
The pieces of the game are approximately 3 cm high and are made from durable polyresin. For the board, natural linen has been used and measures 29 x 29 cm.
The box contains the 37 playing pieces, consisting of 1 king, 12 defenders and 24 attackers, and historical information and the playing rules in English, French
